Professor Emeritus Sergios Theodoridis receives the Norbert Wiener 2021 Award

Sergios Theodoridis is Professor Emeritus with the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and he is the Director of the NKUA Press. He has been awarded with the 2021 Norbert Wiener Award from the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) Signal Processing Society for seminal contributions to leadership, research and education in signal processing”. The Norbert Wiener Award is the Society’s highest honor. It recognizes outstanding technical contributions in a field within the scope of the Signal Processing Society and outstanding leadership within that field. The awardee is expected to deliver the Norbert Wiener Lecture at the 2022 flagship ICASSP (International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, & Signal Processing) Conference, to be held in Singapore.
